• All students must be 16+

• Uniform (tunic/dress) optional

• Non transferable booking fee is required, this amount will be deducted from full fee to secure your place - see T&C's.

• Remaining fee to be paid no later than 1 week before the start date. If this is not paid the students place is cancelled and the booking fee kept.

• 1, 5.5 hour day

• The school will arrange models for your courses.

 

Overview

 

Students will learn a full professional manicure. The student will learn practical techniques in nail  filing, cuticle work, hand and arm massage, nail buffing and painting. The application of the paraffin wax hand treatment and hand exfoliation will also be taught within this course.

 

All related health and safety and theory will be delivered in these sessions, and a course booklet will also be completed. The student will be required to complete practical case studies at home and their theory work.

 

The Manicure accreditation will enable the student to carry out professional manicure treatments. Beauty insurance advice will be given.

 

This course will enable the student to progress onto the gel extensions course.
